Mt. Hood Skiing

I was able to get in yet another day of skiing this year. This picture was taking July 23 on Mt. Hood, Oregon. And yes it was very warm. Nothing like skiing in shorts. Now I am back in Wyoming getting ready for the tour. Less than one month to go!

Trial Ride

Last weekend, Erik and I were able to get together and take a ride around Boston. It also provided us with time to discuss details for the upcoming trip.

Boston Visit

I am looking forward to heading to Boston tomorrow. While there I will have the chance to meet up with Erik and do some tour planning. Of course, we will also take a nice ride together.
I spent my last few days, including July 4th, on the Appalachian Trail in New York. My hiking partner from last year, Cap'n Crunch, was able to join me along with our friend Tex. Together we had a nice walk southbound, meeting current thru-hikers and doing some trail magic. We grilled up dogs and burgers and had watermellon, soda and beer for the hikers.
